Lexia Software
If your child is using Lexia at school and would like to start using it from home, you can download the software from the Lexia website. If you don't have broadband Internet access at home the file may be too large to download and you may contact the school for assistance. Also, be aware that new lexia client software has become available since some of you began using the program last school year. Lexia released the new client software at the end of the last school year. It is version 7.0.1.
During the Lexia installation, you will be prompted to enter a license code. Blessed Sacrament was transferred to the Archdiocese lexia account in mid September, 2010 so you must enter the new archdiocese license code. Blessed Sacrament parents should have received this code in a separate email from the school. The Lexia license code can either be entered during the software installation, or by typing SHIFT+A+S while the Lexia software is starting.
When using the software, your child must enter a username and password. Most, hopefully all, of their usernames are Lastname First inital, and their password is student. For instance, the username for Joe Smith would be smithj, and the password would be student.
