At the direction of the Archbishop, Blessed Sacrament has restored the order of the sacraments. Confirmation and First Communion are celebrated together during the child's third-grade year or around the age of 8.

Candidates should have been enrolled in the Religious Education program beginning in first grade, or at least one year prior and have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The Sacraments of First Communion with Confirmation will be celebrated in the spring of 2026 for those children in 3rd grade and up who have completed First Reconciliation at Blessed Sacrament by Spring 2025.
