About this ministry: The Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic fraternal organization founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney at St. Mary's Church in New Haven, CT. The Bishop Machebeuf Council 4647 includes parishioners from Blessed Sacrament and Christ the King who provide financial and service support to the Parish, the community, and beyond. Some of the events currently sponsored by the Knights include the Tootsie Roll drive, the Machebeuf High School 5K running race, and Blessed Sacrament’s annual Feast Day celebration: the Corpus Christi Feast Day Cookout & Oktoberblest.
