About this ministry: Two evenings each month (the 4th Thursday and Friday) we prepare a meal for about 60 homeless or near homeless senior citizens at Senior Support, Incorporated (18th and Emerson). This ministry is our way of sharing God’s love with others by providing meals two evenings a month to about 80 senior citizens. In addition, we typically provide the Thanksgiving and Christmas Feasts. A monthly menu is set and sent electronically for all to participate as they are able. 

To whom is this ministry open? Anyone who is able to cook a meal or bring something from the store is welcome to participate. Those who would like may deliver the food to the center and serve it.

What kind of a commitment is required? Each month a schedule is sent to all those involved with the ministry. Menus are provided. If one wants to participate, he/she must call and sign up for a specific food item. Then it is delivered to the appointed drop-off spot to be taken to the center.
